BIOGRAPHY
Born in Paris, Lucien Ott was trained in drawing at an early age and began his artistic career as a designer at Maison Krieger a furniture manufacturer in Paris.   He was lifelong friends with the painter and printmaker Henri Rivière who influenced Ott's circular monogram on the bottom of his works.  Ott exhibited landscapes of Brittany and the Île-de-France at the Salon des Indépendants in Paris from 1901.
