BIOGRAPHY
Michel studied under Carolus-Duran. In 1879, he made his painting début at the Salon de Paris and continued to submit work to the Salon des Artistes Français until 1907. In 1885, he received an honourable mention; he was awarded a third-class medal in 1888, and a silver medal at the 1889 Exposition Universelle.
