BIOGRAPHY
The artist studied with Charles Woodbury from 1888 and was married to him in 1890. They traveled extensively in Europe and particularly Holland which became her favorite location to paint and write. She exhibited widely in New England in the 1890s. After her untimely death at the age of 48, her husband organized a critically acclaimed restrospective exhibtion at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
